How You Can Help
Volunteer
We couldn’t provide the services that we do without the ongoing support of a large, active volunteer network. There are many ways that volunteers donate their time and skills to support our agency and the people we serve. Please check out our volunteer section for more information on how you can help.
Hold a Fundraiser
Please consider coordinating a fundraiser, either on your own or through your church or community group, and donating the proceeds to Family Violence Project. Fundraisers like home parties, penny drives, bottle drives, car washes, and bake sales are a great way to help.
Make a Financial Contribution
Your gift supports our mission to end domestic violence in Kennebec and Somerset counties. We can accept your generous donation in three ways.
Donation Single Donation – A gift that may be made as a donation or as a tribute to someone you may know.
Monthly Giving Monthly Giving – A gift that you would like to give monthly. This, too, may be a tribute to someone you know or a general donation. Once you complete the setup form, our database will transfer your donation each month.
FVP Booster FVP Booster – An FVP Booster is a person who is willing to make small donations for a big reward. For more information, please click here.

During certain times of the year, we may hold events or run campaigns which may also be done through the above options. Family Violence Project appreciates your generosity and your support to help us end domestic abuse in our communities.
