Community Assessment

We are asking for your input to help shape the future of our work.

We are running a community assessment to learn what is working, what is missing, and what people in Kennebec and Somerset Counties need most. It is a short survey about access to support, safety, and services in your community.

Your responses will guide our next strategic plan and help us improve programs, expand access, and invest resources where they are needed most.

Phase 1: Surveys

During this phase, we are collecting input through short surveys shared online and in the community. The surveys ask about access to support, safety, and services in Kennebec and Somerset counties. Your responses help us understand what is working, what is missing, and where people face barriers to support.

The surveys take 5 to 10 minutes to complete and are anonymous. As a thank you, some participants will be entered to win a gift card. Winners will be selected on April 8, 2026. Participation is voluntary and does not affect access to services.

Choose the survey that fits your experience.

Each person should complete one survey.

Phase 2: Focus Groups

We will host small group conversations to hear more detail about needs, gaps, and ideas for improvement. These sessions help add context to what we learn from the surveys.

Phase 3: Synthesize & Report

We will share a draft summary of what we heard. The community can review it and offer feedback to help ensure we captured things accurately.

Phase 4: Community Feedback & Strategic Plan

We will publish a report and use it to build a strategic plan that guides our work for the next 3 to 5 years.
