On Behalf of The Children

We know children suffer in many ways when they’re exposed to abuse, either directly or indirectly.

That’s why we…

  • Provide advocates specifically for abuse victims who are also parents and most often also use our shelter, transitional housing, services, support groups, or individual advocacy support.
  • Offer educational training to groups and service providers working with children who have been exposed to or have experienced abuse.
  • Employ an Advocate/Liaison who works out of the DHHS Office of Child and Family Services, assisting caseworkers and families who need additional domestic abuse information and services.
