We know children suffer in many ways when they're exposed to abuse, either directly or indirectly. That's why we...
- Provide advocates specifically for victims of abuse who are also parents, and who are most often also using our shelter, transitional housing and services, support groups or individual advocacy support.
- Offer educational training to groups and service providers working with children who have been exposed to or have experienced abuse.
- Employ an Advocate/Liaison who works out of the DHHS Office of Child and Family Services, assisting caseworkers and families who need additional domestic abuse information and services.
