Shelter

Family Violence Project provides temporary emergency housing for people fleeing domestic abuse or who are homeless because of an abusive domestic partner. Shelter residents live in a cooperative, communal space with minimal supervision by staff.

Shelter advocates offer individual advocacy and group support. Advocates will assist with safety planning, referrals, and assistance connecting with other community-based resources.

Some basic food and personal items are donated. Any supplemental food or supplies will be purchased by the resident.
