    Community Education

    Our Community Educators provide information, and develop and deliver specialized presentations and trainings for individuals and organizations in the community. We also work in collaboration with other community members on three local domestic violence task forces. CONTACT us to set up a training or presentation or to learn more about joining the task force in your area!

    "PEACE IN OUR FAMILIES"
    collaborative community-based coalitions seek to create a coordinated community response to domestic abuse

    TASK FORCE GOALS... The task forces bring together diverse community members to improve response to victim needs and increase abuser accountability, to enhance cooperation and communication between concerned community agencies, and to promote public education and community involvement around the issue of domestic violence and abuse.

    MEMBERSHIP... Includes domestic violence survivors, domestic violence advocates, law enforcement officers, prosecutors, bail commissioners, judges, medical and mental health professionals, state and city goverment representatives, attorneys, state legislators, social service providers, clergy, educators, probation officers, and many others.
