SHELTER ADVOCATE—PART-TIME
Family Violence Project seeks advocate to provide direct services to residents (women and children) of our Kennebec County emergency shelter. This is a part-time position. The successful candidate will be well-organized, have demonstrated skills and experience in crisis intervention, group facilitation and conflict resolution, and will possess knowledge of issues related to domestic violence. Bachelor’s degree in human services or equivalent work experience required. Effective listening, oral, written and computer skills necessary. Familiarity with electronic client documentation preferred.
